Heart2Heart Toastmasters is holding a FREE Speechcraft Program to help launch the new Toastmaster Club: Oakland Leaders.

Speechcraft is an 8-session training program designed to teach public speaking skills to members and nonmembers. During the program, participants are trained in a variety of speaking skills including: Topic Selection, Organizing Your Speech, Handling Public Speaking Fear, Vocal Variety, Using Body Language and more.

Toastmasters is world-renowned for creating a supportive learn environment for new speakers to improve their public speaking skills.

Mondays, 5:15-7:30 p.m.
August 19 – October 21, 2019
(No meeting on Labor Day or Columbus Day)
Held at a private venue by the lake. Location will be provided upon registration. Off-street, secure free parking.

When you join Oakland Leaders Toastmaster as a new member (not second club membership) you not only become a Charter Member of the club, you will have the opportunity to actually practice giving speeches under the guidance of skilled Toastmasters. In small breakout groups, you will be allowed to present up to 4 speeches and serve as a timer and evaluator. Everyone is invited to participate in short impromptu speeches called Table Topics. Learn and grow through Toastmasters with this free opportunity!
